Hal B. Goode, Executive Director
Hal is a life-long resident of Washington County and a 1981 graduate of Washington County High School. After graduation, Hal attended St. Catharine College for two years and then graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 1985 where he received a BA in Broadcasting.
Hal’s community involvement includes mentoring through the Washington County School System, Deacon and member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Charter Member of Washington County Leadership, 2004 Member of Leadership KY, Chairman of KY-ASAP, Springfield Rotary Club Member, Spring View Hospital Board of Directors and part-time employee of Commonwealth Broadcasting ~ where for the past 18 years, Hal has been the voice behind St. Catharine College Basketball and Washington County Commander Football and Basketball.
Hal has been employed as the Executive Director for the Springfield/Washington County Economic Development Authority since July 2003. Hal and his wife Mary Lynn have two children: Erin Lynn, 20 and Matthew, 15.
